Thai CDC mobilized the community again ten years later as we did ten years ago after the outcome of each census to testify at the City of LA redistricting hearing. This time, it was for this past Saturday on 9/11/21 at the Sanamluang Cafe in Thai Town in an effort to again SAVE Thai Town from being cut up. We want to keep Thai Town intact in one district where the demographics and social economic characteristics of the community are the same and where everyone shares issues in common. Thai Town can only benefit from all of the cultural programming and community development efforts underway when kept whole.
