Justice has finally been achieved for 500 Thai farmworkers from our EEOC vs Global Horizons Case yesterday! Four farms agreed to a settlement totaling $2.4 million.
EEOC’s Public Relations representative, Christine Park-Gonzalez, stated, “Congratulations. Because of your (Thai CDC) efforts, the claimants feel redeemed. It is because of you and your staff that these cases even saw the light of day.”
The workers finally got the justice that they deserve and have been waiting for. The slow wheel of justice will and does prevail. Remember the words of Dr. Martin Luther King who stated, “The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice.”
