On Cesar Chavez Day, we celebrate another victory in the fight for justice for migrant farm workers. The United States District Court for the District of Hawaii Judge Leslie Kobayashi has found that Thai farm workers brought to the US as part of the largest human trafficking case in our nation’s history did experience “disparate treatment” at the hands of the recruitment company Global Horizons. Unity and perseverance bring justice to Thai community as they did for Cesar Chavez and will continue to do so in this ground breaking case against Global Horizons!
