Stop Slavery Now

The Slavery Eradication and Rights Initiative Project (SERI) of Thai CDC’s is our ramped up effort to combat the scourge of human trafficking and modern-day slavery that sadly continues unabated since the discovery of the famed first case in the United States in 1995 known as the El Monte Thai Garment Slavery Case in which Thai CDC played a pivotal role in the liberation, relief and resettlement, and redress of the Thai workers.
